Captain Tsubasa (2018) S01

Captain Tsubasa is the story of an elementary school student whose thoughts and dreams are totally wrapped up in soccer. Tsubasa Ozora, 11, plays soccer with his friends and develops his skills everyday after school, while for most of his peers soccer is just a hobby, for him it is a serious goal. Tsubasa's mother encourages him to pursue his dream by moving to the city of Nankatsu, which is famous for its excellent elementary school soccer teams. Although Tsubasa was the best in his old team, in Nankatsu he will meet lots of rivals who will make it hard for him to show his talent. Not only will he make new rivals but also new friends like Sanae Nakazawa, a pretty girl who loves flowers and also has a passion for soccer, and Genzo Wakabayashi, a very talented goalkeeper who will be his companion on his journey to the World Cup. The World Cup is Tsubasa's ultimate dream, but to get there, he will have to overcome numerous obstacles and challenges.
